Melissa Jansen joins the Milwaukee volleyball program as a walk-on after a strong career at West Bend West High School. She is a 6-foot middle hitter who earned all-conference and all-state recognition during her career with the Spartans. She also helped her team to the state tournament in 2006. "Melissa is a tremendous athlete who can succeed at this level," head coach Susie Johnson said. "She has been coming to our camp for years and I think she just needs an opportunity to shine. She will add depth to our middle hitter position and she can be very, very good." |
