Nearman capped her junior season at the NCAA Mideast Regional, where she broke the school record in the 5000m, taking eighth in 16:46.88.]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee will play seven matches against NCAA Tournament teams and a total of 11 contests against squads that won at least 19 contests a season ago, according to the schedule released today by head coach Susie Johnson. In fact, two UWM opponents advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Volleyball Championships in 2007. The Panthers will open the season with three-straight matches against NCAA Tournament teams, as Ole Miss, Iowa State and Illinois State will visit the Klotsche Center for the Panther Invitational Aug. 29-30. The preseason slate also includes contests against NCAA Sweet 16 qualifier Michigan State, UCONN of the Big East and Oregon State of the Pac 10.]]></description>
